This policy describes what data the EXOSECTOR game processes and why.
Game account: login, callsign, faction, progress, inventory, session logs.
Password sign-in: password hash, device id (HWID), IP address.
Steam sign-in: Steam account id (SteamID).
Google sign-in: Google account id (OpenID subject).
itch.io sign-in: itch.io user id.
Technical data: sign-in times and client errors needed to run the server.

Tell Steam, Google, itch.io, and password accounts apart.
Protect the game against cheating, ban evasion, and abuse.
Fix failures.
When you sign in with Google we only request identity (OpenID). We do not ask for Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or other Google services. The Google id is used to create or find your EXOSECTOR account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
When you sign in with Steam we receive a SteamID to create or find your game account. We do not receive your Steam password.
When you sign in with itch.io we receive an itch.io user id to create or find your game account. We do not receive your itch.io password.
Data is stored on EXOSECTOR game servers. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it if required by law.
Account data is kept while the account exists. After an account is deleted via support, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time, unless the law or an abuse investigation requires keeping it.
